Faux Wainscoting "Wheeler" Residence Nursery.

Here is a wainscoting done "faux" (no inset panel insets were used). The home owner did their own painting post facto.

Two Tone Paint Scheme "Johnston" Residence Child's Bedroom.

This is a two tone paint job with chair rail. Each tone is made to be equally divided and separated by the walls length which isn't possible w/ wall paper.

We've also done these before with one tone color and two grades of sheen. A very nice "side sheen" effect.

Plaster Repairs "Hayden" Office Building.

This is a much needed plaster repair done in the old downtown Bakersfield "Hayden" office building which is located above the landmark "Spotlight Theater". There are essentially four steps to a proper plaster repair.

  • Remove loose debris.
  • Tape cracks & add
    bonding agent.
  • Float the new plaster.
  • Prime and paint to match.

A word from Steve Nuckles about quality.

"I pride myself on my level of quality. Seemingly more and more trades are lowering their standards of quality. Well rest assured I can give quality results every time.

I often find customers asking me to fix poor quality jobs that other trades before me had deemed as an "OK" product. I am always happy to oblige and deliver what demanding customers desire.

Below is a perfect example of what I mean. A customer wasn't very satisfied with the last "professional" who painted the panel doors in his offices. A roller was used and there were runs on them in just about every panel corner as well. Of course I fixed them up as good as could be done. I painted them with a brush as well, rollers are for walls not wood work!"

Before.
You can clearly see the
running and roller "stipple".

After considerable sanding.
Smoothing the door out is
essential for a quality finish

Project completed.
No more runs or
roller "stipple".
